Andrew Taitz founded GVW Group, an internationally diversified private investment firm specializing in starting and incubating commercial, industrial and technology companies, in 1993. In 2009, Andrew Taitz co-founded GreenOhm and currently serves as
the company’s Chairman.
In addition to GreenOhm, GVW Group owns and operates Autocar, the largest manufacturer of “green” alternative energy heavy duty trucks, Aculocity and
Triz Engineering. Previously, Andrew successfully started and exited investments in Workhorse Custom Chassis, Union City Body Company and Uptime Parts. Andrew is passionate about working with entrepreneurs to help them in build sustainable businesses
that create long-term equity value.
Lee Guthman joined GVW and co-founded GreenOhm with Andrew Taitz in 2009. Prior to joining GVW, he was Sr. Director, Strategy and Development and Sr. Director, Acquisitions and Development at Career Education Corporation, a $2B provider of post-secondary
At Career Education Corporation, Mr. Guthman initially managed corporate mergers and acquisitions activity prior to taking on responsibility for strategic planning and development for the firm’s $300M+ Healthcare Education Business Unit. From 2002-2007,
Mr. Guthman was Senior Manager, Global Business Development and Strategy at Baxter Healthcare’s Medication Delivery Business, where he was responsible for global strategy and transaction analysis, sourcing, execution and integration.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Guthman worked in private equity as an Associate with Lake Pacific Partners and in investment banking as an Analyst with Robertson Stephens. Mr. Guthman earned a BBA with Distinction from the University Michigan Ross School
Joe Lukas joined GVW in 2010 and was appointed to serve on the Board of Directors of GreenOhm in 2010 by Andrew Taitz. Prior to joining GVW, Mr. Lukas was Senior Corporate Counsel at Stark Investments, an international, multi-strategy investment firm.
Prior to Stark, he was a partner in the Chicago office of Winston & Strawn LLP.
While at Winston he practiced in the corporate law area with an emphasis on finance and general corporate matters. He began his career at Morgan Lewis & Bockius LLP in Philadelphia where he was a member of the business and finance group, focusing on
finance, securitization, securities law and mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Lukas earned a J.D., cum laude from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 1995 and he earned a B.S. in Finance, summa cum laude from Boston College in 1992.
